I'm kind of ok with this one. He's already at much higher risk of virus complications due to being overweight/obese. I can see the thinking that giving him the heart, then he dies a couple months later (due to weight and now a compromised immune system), would be a waste compared to giving it to someone younger and healthier...

Thanks for sharing that - I didn't know the metaverse concept was around for 30 years already! Do you maybe think the appeal of the whole metaverse concept comes from people feeling helpless to change even their own lives, never mind society as a whole. Along the lines of "the world is fucked, my life is fucked, the only place I have any control is in this fantasy world..."
