If I were to fail hanging for whatever reason, who would pay for my hospital living? I'm deeply concerned about my parents calling the police or someone finding me before I complete it.

Yeah, but would my parents have to pay anything? I'm an adult and live with them I'd be hanging myself in the woods near our home.

Yeah there is that possibility of that happening.

If I found someone dying I wouldn't save them. I wouldn't wanna get stuck with their bills

It's definitely something to consider. You need to be 100 % sure and find a method that is GUARANTEED not to fail to ensure you don't end up worse off

Cant you secure that 1-hour alone timeframe? The hanging megathread states that you need to be alone for thirty minutes after you've passed out.

I can but it's risky when parents know I tried to hang myself already. I'd have to go into woods or lake dam and do it and there's a chance they cud call the police which is a huge fear for me. They didn't call when I left walking into town for cigarettes after it happened tho and it's like 3 miles there and back. I'd hate to end up like another couple guys who ended up as vegetables and have my parents have that burden

I understand your fears. Maybe you have to wait a bit longer for the perfect opportunity, for example when they go out for dinner together or something.

They won't my dads always in the house my mom and sister leave a lot which wud decrease the chances. I don't think they'll call but u never know. I always sneak out and drink and stuff and they never call the police on me. But after my attempt u just never know. Wish I made my last one count :(

If you were far into the woods how would they find you so fast? What if you went out at night when everyone fell asleep?

That's true. They wouldn't know where I'm at. The tree where I would do it is close to the house in a stand of trees bout 100 yards away. There's also a ladder inside a dam near my house where id really like to do it from but I'd have to wade through water so I wouldn't be able to do it in winter or at night. It's deep inside the dam up through a shallow pool and drain ramp and through a tunnel there's another pipe that's goes up into a drain room and that's where the ladder is. It's kinda difficult to get to but they can unlock a grate and climb down to get me from the ground above

Well next of kin I'm sure. They would have to get permission I would assume before they pulled the plug, I think? In this case, it would be his parents that would be responsible to make the decisions.

I think they would pull the plug but not really sure. They wouldn't be able to afford keeping me alive so they would have no other choice. If they were to go broke it would kill me
