But I wonder how many people posted that they would CTB tonight and asked for their names to be crossed if they don't post anything in 1 month.

But how many people would have succeeded?
Imagine things went wrong and they turned into a vegetable? Not being able to write a post. Stuck in a body that can't function anymore?

Their names would be crossed out as if they had found peace but actually .. their lives got worse?

It's beyond horrifying how trying to die can go wrong, it just shows what a hellish world we exist in where assisted suicide isn't legalised. It disgusts me how people even have to fear a suicide attempt failing in the first place, I despise this prison like anti-suicide society, it's evil to me how we cannot die in peace despite the fact that we were forced to suffer in the first place.

How hard it is to peacefully end your life. Why are we forced to continue living a life we don't want? A life we didn't ask for? We had no choice when we were put on this world and we have no choice to leave it. Tragic.

I have seen failed attempt posts
But never ones of people who wrote for someone that became a vegetable in cases of SN

Actually becoming a vegetable is unlikely, especially with methods like N, SN, Gun, most likely if you don't receive assistance you will exit.

there are guaranteed ways but we sadly probably don't have access to them

I think most who've take SN and not posted again are gone. You can't be 100% with most of them but some have been confirmed and there's a few where other people have documented their passing. From the few where the process was observed, it seemed to bring about death pretty reliably.

We rarely know for sure. Still- the way I look at it is- wouldn't the pro-lifers be all over it if people were incapacitating themselves with a suicide method? It would be such a good deterrent for them to use to put people off. Like ridiculous Tik Tok crazes that end up causing severe injuries or burning the house down. I just feel they'd be using that if it was a common occurrence- especially with something like SN. Not that it's impossible of course. All methods carry risk.
