Using benzos as a method?

I like the idea of falling asleep and never waking up. Would it be possible to od on just benzos like Xanax? How much would I actually need? I weigh about 63kg and I have a very sedentary lifestyle.

LD50 for xanax appears to be on the high side, like +1 g/1 kg. (but this came from a datasheet that was for the XR version)

I don't think it's possible. You'll just black out for a few days and either wake up in jail or the hospital.

You have to mix with an opiate to enhance the cns depressing effects

Benzodiazapines depress respiratory function but do not stop it completely. Will almost certainly not kill. Combining with opioids increases mortality but chance of death is still very low.

You'd need to look up lethal dosages and see if you have access to that much medication.

Also, ODs are pretty unreliable. There's info pinned on the main suicide page.
