Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

The night night method involves a ratchet strap and cornbags, but I was wondering if I could use an actual tourniquet instead of a ratchet strap?

Here's the tourniquet, for reference: Amazon product ASIN B089T5C4SF
What would be the difference between using a ratchet strap and a tourniquet?

I've also heard of people using long, elastic leggings for this. Thoughts on that too?
Guess I just realised posting Amazon links doesn't work here. But the name of the tourniquet is: Tourniquet, 1 Pack - The Fastest, Safest, Most Effective Combat Hemostatic Control Single-Handed Application for Military Tactical First Aid Medical Battle Tourniquets

And if anyone reads this and is unfamiliar with the methods I'm talking about — the idea is to use something like the strap/tourniquet to compress the carotid arteries. Ideally, you wouldn't have to compress the windpipe, and you'd lose consciousness within seconds without too much discomfort.
