Where do you live? I have lived in the USA my whole life. Sorry, I tried to pack as many regions as I could on the poll, but majority English-speaking countries are overrepresented because I assume we make up the majority of the user base. I guess we'll see!
Ever been to northumberland? I've only travelled up to Scotland a couple of times but when I was young I remember visiting holy island and walking up some very sheer cliff face, very nice place.

Are you referring to Iona? I was there many years ago, yeah the further north you go the wilder it becomes. The furthest I've been is Fort William, there is some breathtaking scenery.

Actually no it's more like on the southern border I think. I know that NW Scotland is the only wilderness left in the UK with pubs and villages disconnected from society almost completely, I desparately wish I could've visited. Holy island is a little island with a causeway you can walk across when the tide is low.
