So, popped up in my news feed today that Georgia (the state within the US) has just started pushing a bipartisan bill to make Lemon Pepper the official chicken wing flavor of the state.
The official chicken wing flavor.
This shit gets bipartisan support, talked about on national news, and you can bet this bill will flow through the process and get approved quickly.
Meanwhile, actual bills about policies that would affect and improve lives of people... that shit stalls or goes nowhere in the first place.
I used to always make jokes about naming the state bird or whatever... but I guess that's all been done and now they are on to the important things like making sure they have an official state chicken wing flavor. And just to be super stupid... it's not official chicken flavor... it's chicken wing flavor... which means they could also legislate official general chicken flavor, flavor for drumsticks, chicken strips, nuggets, etc. They could do the whole damn plethora of chicken cooking types and designate state flavors for all of them since you don't always each every type of chicken in the same sauce, right?
Can we actually have state and federal governments actually spend time on real stuff and not this kind of shit? Seriously!
