  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I saw the announcement to contact my representative. I open the page, but don't know what to write!

I'm a US member, but English is not my native language. Plus being Autistic, it's extra difficult for me to phrase a poliet, clear, strong, efficient, and professional message.

Pleasw provide us a bluescript to send to my representative, like all other organizations do. Thanks!

I think it would definitely be a good idea to have a template available for users to fill out. Hopefully someone with some understanding of the law is able to construct a sound defense for this forum. Also wondering if other users are concerned about privacy and protecting our identities when corresponding with the government on this matter?

you'd probably need the advice of a lawyer to help with something like this.
