Have you tried closing the curtains and putting on loud music so you don't hear or see it? When I have to endure noises or sights that are difficult for me I usually block them out with music and pretend it's not happening. Thought I'd suggest it since it helps for me.

I know in some countries you can text the emergency number, I looked it up for Spain and apparently 112 accept texts too ?
