Venting Unsure about my future recovery

Im scared because of how unbearable poor I am. I have no saving and nothing of worth even if I tried selling my stuff. I want this girl to like me but im scared she'll judge me for being poor and also for having so many scars on my arms. She hasn't the slightest idea of what I've been through.

Also scares of what it might do to my recovery. I just quit therapy, I'm about to have surgery in January and I'll be out of work for 2 months, then I'll be moving to my dad's afterwards.

My disability also got denied. I'm just a mess right now. I'm just scared of what the future holds.

I'm sorry to hear about all that~ :( I hope and pray it manages to get better for you in spite of all that~ :) it's neat that you don't seem to be worried about the cost of the surgery in spite of being poor tho~ :) altho, them not giving you disability for that is sooo rude! :/

I think a growing number of people are on the same boat, myself included.

AI is only going to make this trend more pronounced and class divisions greater, and we'll see people commuting to work from tent encampments or shelters or living in cars.

Yeah im not sure how it works but i believe my medicade will pay for it with no issues. It just sucks that this is happening

I'm sorry that you are suffering through something like that right now.
For starters-- a woman should never judge you for your wealth. Nowadays, most people are fairly empathetic and won't judge you for your shortcomings. The main thing I'd be worried about (in my personal opinion) is someone who pities you or is condescending because of your shortcomings. I'm sure that since you like her she must be a wonderful person, and she most likely won't feel any kind of ill will towards you because of your financial situation.
Just know that things WILL get better. For now, you can be sure that you can handle the surgery (medically and financially), and you will be able to have a place to stay.
The future will always be unknown. We can't predict it, we can't change it directly, and it will always stay that way. But you had suffered greatly before, and you were still able to live through it. You have the scars to prove it. Without our suffering, we can never truly appreciate the times we are happy.
I know you can get through this. You've been through so much, and you're still here to tell the tale. Use your anxiety as a tool, and help prepare yourself for what the future may hold. Keep your head high, you got this.
