I've actually been thinking about this.

I would say, "I sincerely wish for your well-being and equanimity. When someone has these things, they don't feel a need to try to harm or control others."

Not trying to come across like a saint here. I'm still pissed. But anything else I would say would not get through. They don't care about me or that they hurt me, but they do care about themselves. This seems like the only thing I could say that is genuine and would potentially have even a small impact.

I wish I never met you and I left before you destroyed me. No, just because someone is passive doesn't give you a green light to hurt them. You knew what you were doing but decided I wasn't wasn't worth more than what I could give you. You hurt someone who cared about you and now you're hurting because you didn't get what you wanted from someone else. I wish I had the boundaries to step away from you but you were all that I had back then. My self worth was established by what I could give you, I was nothing and still feel it deep in my chest.

Some of those things have been done by you to me, so I hardly expect you to recognize them. I had that opportunity with a family member a few days before they died. It was only through messaging though, not face to face. I was glad I did it. It was a no holds barred message which they read and replied to. Felt cathartic.

Yeah, my relationship with her was so bad since the beginning to the point I'm triggered to hear her voice. I admit I also made some mistakes but she's really hard to admit one. Not to mention when talking about religion she always thinking it as something right & god would help us. Ugh
