UK Welfare Check

I ordered SN from DMC back in November and then it arrived 2 weeks later and now earlier this month I woke up to a tall police officer at my flat door providing me with a welfare check for my SN. He told me it gets used for 'Meat Curing' and 'Photography' only. He went onto to say does he want himself to remove the SN or can he trust me to remove it myself and in my panicked state I threw it away shortly after he left.

That makes no sense.

If they thought you were attempting to CTB or self harm, they would not give you the option of disposing it yourself.

I guess I have to repeat myself.

It makes no sense, literally zero, that you would get a welfare check months after ordering and receiving the SN.

The fact that you are known to MH services would make it even more of an immediate concern that you ordered SN.

The only way this story would make sense is if you got a welfare check for something unrelated, in which case you wouldn't have brought up ordering SN as the reason for it.

Please, stop being lazy with your made up story. Put in some effort, at least.

Doesn't make sense to me, either. If they were so concerned about your welfare in regards to you doing harm to yourself with SN, why would they wait 5 months before making contact with you?

Theres be loads of welfare checks recently. Most likely w DMC old website host gave uk cops all the orders made to uk - hence the back date.

Frankly just tell them to fuck off, the UK continues to make life hell for any minority - then pretend to care about well being.

Are you in the UK? It's absolutely the case that the police follow up months after something is reported.
Equally please make sure you ask for and verify ID of anyone who comes knocking on your door.

I believe it as I also got a check. But way before parcel was due.

Royal Mail probably keep records of things these days especially as dmc has tracking numbers. Not hard to retrospectively find those from records kept of tracking numbers from same sender.
