Making death amazing journey

Hallo I live in UK bu Im not UK citizen.

My question regards police actions after they find my body. Specifically will they try to contact my family who doesn't live in UK?
I will leave my a note to the police - and I clearly express it, will they honor it at all?

I wish my mother never went through this again. As 16y old I did it first time and she rescued me then.
Today Im nearly 50 and I decided to finish it;
But she is 70 year old fragile, vulnerable, good woman who suffered her whole life.
It's absolutely horrifying she would be forced to go through it again.

I have Alzheimer's and I start loosing control over my life; I cannot wait much longer, I need some brain left to plan my exit and execute it before its too late.

Can I do anything to stop police from calling my family?
Thanks a lot. I hope someone here knows the answer.

This isn't answering your question because I don't really know specifics and I'm not from the UK, but I'm wondering about something. Do you and your mother stay in contact often? If you suddenly stopped talking to her, will she will live the rest of her life searching for you? Wouldn't this be worse than having the comfort of knowing where and what happened to you if you CTB?

You made a valid point - but the answer is not always that clear. I dont want to go into details about my family and the past, but I
know it will break her heart [again] when she is too fragile and weak. Sometimes truth is to much to handle...
I will think about what you just said. Thank you.

Cause more suffer to someone you love?
Is there anything worse for a parent to learn that your son took his own life?

It is aa routine part of the procedure in part to make sure it is actually a suicide. I think it would be difficult to get your request adhered to unfortunately.

However, if you have your next of kin in the UK, I imagine they'd be notified instead.

If you have early onset Alzheimer's, she may understand more than you think. Of course your loss will always hurt.

Well damn. That is heartbreaking.

You seem to have a lot of care for your mother. Maybe you should leave a message for her, since Sayo make's a good point - she might understand. The elderly would be more understanding of Alzheimer's than any other group.

:( Best of luck. Sorry this didn't answer your question.

I have a lot of guilt in me. thats my problem, that why I planned to do it after she passes away first.
But now with my galloping brain collapse - I realized i might have not enough time and good brain cells to execute my plan.

And sure - I will write a letter hoping it would ease her pain.
