Two questions regarding SN, the first one is probably really idiotic since I tend to overthink everything:


1) Does it matter what kind of water you mix SN with? Bottled or tape water? Warm or cold?


2) When should the test be done? Most say that it's recommended to do it few days before the attempt, however, would it be okay if I do it almost a month prior?

To answer your first question, salt dissolves quickly in hot/warm water. If cold water is used some particles could get stuck on the bottom of the glass and you may not get the recommended dosage.

I am just speaking from experience.

to the second question, most people recommend you do it a few days prior to the attempt because it very quickly becomes non-lethal after being exposed to air. you're kind of on a time limit once you've opened the container, so it's better to do it closer to the day. there may be a workaround to this that i don't know about, though.

The thing is that Iwanted to test right after it arrives because I really can't waste more time anymore if it isn't legit, I have to be gone by spring because I could remain homeless so yeah it's a tricky matter.

Normal water works.

Usually we do it on the day we intended to use it..

I hope you don't come to that but whichever brings you your peace... *hugs*

Any water is fine and I think either time to test is fine. I understand wanting to think things through- with sn the process in stan's guide is somewhat involved and involves a lot of medications, inlcuding several prescription medications- not all of the medications are necessary, but all can help. So figuring out which medications to take and when to compromise is maybe the key issue for sn for most people. For me for example I have meto, I won't be able to get benzos, and I might get a beta blocker, plus I have the other meds. This is where this method gets complicated.
