Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Last week, I was particularly depressed and I decided I'd had enough. I took a bit of rope, tied knots on both ends, put a doorknob through one end and my neck through the other, and kind of laid back while the rope tightened around my neck. I could feel the pressure against my veins, my neck pulsing. After a few seconds, I passed out. I don't know how long I was out, but when I woke up, my body had shifted to one side and the rope had stopped applying pressure on one side of my neck.

I'm a failure even when I try to take my own life. I'm done.

Sorry to hear that stranger, I can relate with the agony.

Hopefully you find your way. Whatever that may be.

You're not a failure for an unsuccessful suicide attempt. It's completely normal and expected. I would know firsthand that suicide is extremely difficult. I had full intention to die and had a loaded gun in my mouth, and I felt no fear or hesitation, but I just couldn't pull the trigger because my fingers would reflexively soften against it every time. Even if my situation isn't exactly the same as yours, most suicide attempts don't result in death. My advice would be is to try not to think so hard about this unsuccess and try not to put it against yourself too much. But I know it still feels like salt in a wound when you're already in a terrible place, and I'm sorry for all the suffering you are experiencing, and I'm sorry that this contributes to it even more.
