Method tree hanging: partial or full?

i want to hang from a tree in the woods not far from me. i have failed partial before due to unconscious SI and i am now wary to do it again. however there are many different opinions on full. should i do a drop or just easy my way into it? how high?

Do not drop, It can hurt your neck and won't make it much faster, full suspension choke will make you unconscious super fast, I bet in like less than 10 seconds. But if you drop from high enough you can end up with decapitation, but I would not recommend it.
