So where I live - we have a new train service starting. I already have the app on my phone - have for a while whilst they trialed it - to time them. I've seen the speed where it goes at certain crossings.

I have DMC ready to order / but this. Would be free - super quick (it goes really fast at a certain crossing) and I could ctb in the next day or two.

But. The guilt I feel right now for the driver is a lot. I don't want to hurt anyone else? But I can't get the idea out of my head. Plus this YouTuber I used to watch did this last year. And I'm like. If she could do it - so can I?

But yea I just don't want to affect another person. But surely if they're going fast enough and I jump down just as it is passing / they likely wouldn't see me?

Is this selfish?

For me it is an absolute hard line: I cannot implicate anyone else with my method.
That's simply wrong.
They will see you, or there will be an incident on the line and they will know it was their train.
If you want something quick and fast and don't mind the high impact, a jump from height does the same thing without ruining someone else's life.

This is how I feel but the part of me that just wants to go now is like - tempting?

But yes. I feel the same - the thought I feel bad about even thinking it

Regardless of who does or doesn't witness the collision, someone will require to pick up the broken, separated pieces of your dismembered body from the track and the locomotive.
Photographs will require to be taken for subsequent Fatal Accident Enquiry or Coroner's Inquest, varying of course according to the legal procedure in the country in which you reside.
Railway staff, Police& Ambulance personnel and others will likely be involved along the way. And, whilst the driver might possibly not view what remains of you smeared along the track and across the front of the loco, he or she will know for the rest of their life that they drove the train which took your life.

When I was at Trenton Psychiatric there was a fellow suicide there but he had both his feet amputated. So be careful when you lay down. He was happy to have lived for some reason.
