Traffickers smuggling N from Mexico to the US in 2024

I just read a couple of recent articles from 2024 about people smuggling N (pentobarbital) from Mexico to the US. It makes me wonder how hard it would be to find it on the black market.

• five kilograms of pentobarbital smuggled in from Mexico was recently seized by an organized crime drug enforcement task force (along with fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine)
• in early 2024, multiple batches of counterfeit pills (e.g., pressed as "M30s" to represent oxycodone) confiscated near the Southwest border tested positive for pentobarbital plus combinations of fentanyl, fentanyl analogs, and xylazine
• other indicators suggest pentobarbital is being smuggled in powder form and possibly sold as another drug such as heroin

Mexican National Indicted for Illegally Importing Suicide Drug Into US From Mexico Following HSI Chicago Investigation

• A federal grand jury in Chicago indicted a Mexican resident on drug charges for allegedly illegally importing the drug pentobarbital into the United States from Mexico for use in committing suicide.
• Gonzalez-Munguia operated an online drug business to facilitate the sale and distribution of pentobarbital to individuals who were contemplating suicide in the United States and throughout the world.
• Authorities in the United States and several foreign countries conducted well-being checks and recovered pentobarbital from numerous individuals who admitted to being despondent and ordering the suicide drug online via email addresses operated by Gonzalez-Munguia. Law enforcement offered assistance to these individuals.
• In other instances, individuals who purchased Pentobarbital via the email addresses were later found to be deceased, including individuals in the Chicago area and several other states and countries.

It's fairly difficult to find. You basically have to go in person these days to South American countries. Not even Mexico because the authorities are aware

The seller in Mexico was a famous online seller who was discussed here under the aliases D and A. There was someone named M for a bit who did a rug pull scam or got similarly arrested

It would be wonderful, I know. Once upon a time it was possible. Today, however, the situation has changed a lot and the methods available are scary, except for some brutal and rapid ones.
