The lies? Three little words.
The words are pressure, discomfort, and cramping. If I hear any one of those from a doctor, I know they're a lying SOB and that I'm about to have a bad time.
I'm going to feel some pressure? I'd feel pressure if a boulder fell on me, but it would still hurt pretty bad.
Discomfort? The only one feeling discomfort is you having to tell me this. I already know I'm going to feel pain.
Cramping? I swear, a python could be squeezing my neck and a doctor would look at that and say, " Oh, are we having cramps today?"
Why do they lie like this? Just tell us the truth about the pain we are facing and how we can deal with it. I have been in situations where I've had to provide (low level) medical care to people. I never lied about stuff like that. I always gave them a realistic idea of how it would feel and how we would get through it together.
