Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Apparently you have to weigh a certain amount to properly hang yourself. I don't know if I fully believe it but it was going to be my method until I heard some news on the internet that I probably wouldn't be able to.
I'm 5'4 and weigh 95lbs, if my eating disorder doesn't take me out by the time I'm 70lbs then I'm worried hanging will barely have any affect.

I don't think that is true tbh. At least you can start to feel it when you are about 100 pounds, although I can't say what happens after that as I haven't made it that far. I hope there is nothing like that as I was considering stuff and don't weigh too much more than you. If I were to guess, it is something like how passenger airbags don't turn on until there is enough weight because it has to be spread out and stuff so if you just carry weights to do that, it isn't great. So I'd assume that since you weigh less than the average person doing it, the area that needs to be crushed also needs less weight than the average person.

I just got the information online, haven't done it yet but I will do a "practice round" before committing.

Okay, that makes sense. Thank you!

If you have a ligature that will slide easily, hanging will take you out quickly, just like everyone else. Do full and you will succeed. It takes a surprisingly little amount of pressure to block the arteries.

Its enough to press only one artery, right? You don't need both.

With full you press all. Partial presses none to all depending on how hard you lean into it. That is the problem with partial, ease into it and fail.

You'll succeed with full. Even kids have succeeded with full.
