Tonight was supposed to be the night

I talked to my family last night and my next-door neighbor tonight, which means none of them would be expecting to hear from me again for a few days. I put all my keys/notes/instructions/etc. where they needed to go. I even vacuumed the apartment one last time. And ..... my IBS is acting up! I probably should've expected it. I ate too heavy of a dinner last night and drank coffee this morning. Plus, I didn't know that (TMI warning) meto can cause diarrhea. Ugh! It sucks because I've been so calm all day - really at peace about tonight being the night. But now, I'm afraid of soiling myself when I die. I'm probably going to wait 24 hours to give my guts time to get their shit together. (Pun intended)

Sorry you suffer, too! And I ran out of probiotics 2 days ago and didn't buy more because I didn't think I'd be here to need them.

this is the kind of thing that happens to me pretty much any time an important date comes up! i wouldn't be surprised if it happened on a planned CTB date too all of my prior attempts have been on impulse

My prior attempts were on impulse, too. Between IBS and a couple chronic pain conditions, something usually flares at an inopportune time. That's the only part I hate about the SN method ... you can't just say "Ok, now is a good time to go." Well, I guess technically, you could. But I'm doing all I can to make it a successful attempt.

I'm sorry you deal with this kind of stuff, too.

Thank you. It seems incredibly easy to leave this world accidentally but so difficult to do so intentionally. A cruel irony, isn't it?
