• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Title, I have got SN, Reglan (managed to get some last minute in last ditch attempt, writing this now as I got back form picking it up), and Tagamet. I plan to do it tonight as I mentioned, and I have read all the resources present on this site about SN and I just have a couple of nuance questions to make sure it works as it should:

For some of these questions, keep in mind that: It is new years eve, I (22 y,o.) still live with my parents and sister, they will be home and I dont plan on acting differently so the fact that I am killing myself tonight/having problems becomes worth investigating on their end.

1.) Does doing it on an "empty" stomach increase its work chance/time till unconscious? If so, how long should I wait after eating before beginning.

2.) I have Acetominophen and Aleve (Naproxen Sodium), is any of these "better" to take when doing this method? (I MIGHT be able to get some ibuprofen to use but its best to assume that I cant)

I have spent my entire life a failure, I have no successes, no achievements, nothing to be proud of and no future ahead of me, everything is gone. I consider it pure luck that I am managing to do it today, the time which I have been planning to (thanks to the extreme difficulty of getting the Reglan) I wish this to be my only triumph, and to many others it will be so as well, and one for them as well.

I dont really plan to share any details to what brought me to this point or much anything else with this site, I am merely here to use it for its intended purpose. nothing more.
But if it must be known, my planned time to execute my suicide is 23h00 my time (MST), which is 7 hours and 10 minutes from the moment I clicked "post thread"

These are the questions I have now, I think I had one more but I forgot it as of current, so if I think of it I will also post it here, if I dont then I guess I dont.

i'm sorry you're at this point. i'm sure you don't want to hear it/already have, but given your age, lack of info, and stated reasons (no achievements or future), i can't help but wonder if there might be changeable circumstances forcing your hand. sometimes a hellish immediate/physical environment is hard to see beyond.
of course only you know, and i hope this doesn't seem patronizing.
whatever happens, i wish you peace

i am very pro-choice but at 22 very few people have succeeded in life

people have turned their lives around at 50. Having nothing at 22 is normal. If you don't have an education, many people start businesses without one based on something they enjoy.

This seems drastic to me. I hope you change your mind.

empty stomach reduces chance of vomiting!! usually keep 6-8 hours fasting gap.

not sure about the second question so I'll let someone else answer.

also the intended purpose of the forum isn't to only discuss method execution (discussing methods past a certain point isn't actually allowed here) so I'll just link this helpful resource https://i.sanctioned-suicide.net/images/2022/04/148291_SN_guide_english.pdf - feel free to use the forum however you like, the intended purpose is to give yourself a voice!

all the best ❤️
if its just vomiting thats the concern, I will be taking Reglan (Metoclopramide), 2 pills (the max dose, If I can get away 3 and not jeopardize this I wish to hear from someone more knowledgable on it to say so), timed as it should be (probably 45-60 minutes before I do to ensure it is indeed functioning as it should)

Im not under the delusion I should be a successful business man or a doctor by now, no. Im talking entirely relative to my own goals, that which Ive had ever since I was sure of what I wanted to do in life, theres more that happened before and after I lost all of that, but again, no details.

As others have said, you have a very long life ahead of you to turn things around. I am nearly twice your age and know that things can change drastically over the course of your life if you give it time. I have not yet achieved many of my life goals at 40 but am working towards them and know I can get there.

I will also say, you asking these questions this close to your attempt makes it seem like you have not done enough prep work and planning which often leads to a failed attempt. Do not make a hasty decision with SN if you are not certain of the necessary steps.

That being said, this is a suicide discussion site and I can relate to being that young and wanting life to be over. I will therefore answer your questions.
1.) Does doing it on an "empty" stomach increase its work chance/time till unconscious? If so, how long should I wait after eating before beginning.
Yes. An empty stomach means faster absorption and also less chance of vomiting. Rule of thumb is 8 hour fast for solids, 2 hour fast for liquids.
2.) I have Acetominophen and Aleve (Naproxen Sodium), is any of these "better" to take when doing this method? (I MIGHT be able to get some ibuprofen to use but its best to assume that I cant)
The recommended drug is Acetominophen (paracetamol in the UK) for SN. Most people report a raging headache due to the large drop in blood pressure.

Thanks this helps. I do remember seeing paracetamol in the SN guide thing, and didnt recognize it, though you saying its just the UK term for Aceteminophen does ring bells, suprised I couldnt remember that.

The first part sucks I suppose because we having a family dinner because muh new years, but since 8 hours from the likely time we eat is 04h00 I should be good do it then (my sleep schedule is ruined as of current) but I did want to do it at 23h00 31/12/2024 because I didnt want to see a minute of 2025 but w/e ig

and I did do my research, I just never saw anything about fasting until I saw a post by another user who only mentioned not drinking water, and iirc he did it for like the entire day. Im not too savvy on this topic, so since using this site (which was earlier in the month/ late November) most things I find are new info to me.

Agreed. Your brain isn't fully developed until 25 either.

I was depressed from 20-30 which did eventually get better. Different issues now 😏

Nothing wrong with researching but think well before committing.

I'm pro choice of course but don't rush into it.

Good luck.

Its risky doing an SN exit with others at home.
You'll probably be vomiting & as you're losing consciousness, chain-stokes breathing kicks in which can be very loud.
When you start "death rattle" breathing it can be very loud.
If you start seizing or convulsing you could be very loud 🤗🌹💔

I'm of a similar age to OP. I grew up without an education (I have literally zero qualifications). I managed to gain financial literacy far exceeding my age and a stable career that pays well. Combined with unending overtime I make about three times the average for my age group before the other benefits I get from my job. I've risen in my organisation at a rate far exceeding the norm and am senior to people much older than me with university degrees.

Unfortunately I'm still crippled by short-term medical debt from things not covered by my insurance. I expect to be out of it within a year, and it doesn't massively play on me because I can overcome it in the near future.

Some things aren't changeable though, and I've come close to suicide because no matter what I can achieve in the conventional sense of success, I can't rewrite my childhood. I can't change the personality I've developed as a result of said childhood, and I find it difficult to connect or relate to people as a result of my unconventional life experiences. This is before the incurable medical conditions and their financial impact.

I suspect OP is going through something similar.

you may be correct. I am pro-choice. I just worry when I see someone in their late teen or early 20s ready to ctb that they are doing it impulsively or in the midst of a temporary depression. Sometimes people of that age get better, and the original poster was saying some things that made me wonder if it was just a temporary severe depression.

i agree with u. For me I never really stoped wanting to die. I simple have things that I have to do before I will let myself die and I self harm a ton to regulate my emotions. Only attempted once when I was like 18 thankfully avoided going to a Ward. But I do agree with your position. But it is ultimately ops choice that is the whole point after all.

I wish there were a way to get help without the threat of forced locked wards. It really discourages the suicidal, myself included, from seeking treatment.
