My plan is to go hang myself in the woods.

I got the chance to talk with the amazing @rainwillneverstop as I vented out random thoughts while I looked for a decent spot. We had a laugh at how terribly small all the trees and branches were but I managed to find a good one! I tested out my body weight around one of the trees by monkeying myself on the rope and it actually held! It was surprising but I couldn't have been more happy, it's a really nice spot. High up with a nice view too.

When I was leaving the area, there was this squirrel/chipmunk that was insanely chatty so I'm hoping I won't piss him off too much by not having any nuts on me while I hang myself lmao.

This site has genuinely helped me a lot and I'm happy to not be alone.

I'm going to be walking out to the spot in about an hour or so and will keep this thread posted!

I got to the spot and kept getting a call from a private number which I thought was either a scam or creep. I finally answered and it was the cops. Like actually unbelievable timing. I had JUST got to the tree and was tieing the slip knot to get everything prepared. I even fucking ditched the rope there because I was scared they'd look through my bag. For fuck SAKE.
The people I'm staying with are now clamping down on my privacy. I feel fucking crushed.
They also DID say it was reported from someone who saw a "post I made online".

You've got more courage than I, I could never go forth with shooting or hanging. Men and women seem to differ a lot that way I think. I'm still trying to get the courage up to go forth. Life is just too physically hard and I can't go back on a feeding tube which is where I fear Im headed. Brains just getting worse and only sleeping 2 hours a night never getting any REM sleep has really messed me up

Someone was probably monitoring OP's web traffic (where s/he was staying) and noticed traffic to SS. When s/he went for a walk, they panicked and called the cops and provided his/her number to the cops.

i'm so sorry, this is awful. someone, especially someone that frequents this forum having called the cops on you is disgusting, at the very least. i read similar relates before; cops showing up after a person makes a post with suicidal ideation online, and then getting treated so badly by the cops that they get scared of even attempting again. it happens a lot, and is just sad to know that the chances of that happening here exists as well.

How many here wouldn't fall for "helping you" once things are in motion? I have seen it a lot of times, someone is commiting suicide, everyone is suicidal, but for some reason they go out of their way to call for help.

That is absolutely horrible how your attempt was stopped due to other people. People who try to force others to stay here against their wishes really are so disturbing to me, they should have no right to do such a thing. I hate this world that punishes people all because they don't wish to delay the inevitable. But anyway, I hope that you eventually find the freedom that you wish for. There's a few reasons it likely happened -
1. (Major) I doxxed myself by showing an article in chat of when I went missing (members helped summon a mod to delete the post after 5 minutes or so)
2. My ex might know about my account here as I've posted in the past while still in the relationship (could be lowkey monitoring this account)
3. I asked @rainwillneverstop if they called but they said no, also they didnt have my number as we called over discord anyhow. So that one is phased out.

To ease everyone's stress about posting their plans here, it's highly highly likely due to me being an idiot with doxing myself for that 5 minutes yesterday. Someone with ill intentions likely followed my posts after the fact and saw this one, then calling the cops.

The cops showed up to my place of residence first. Then they started calling my phone to find out my location.

Because of my info now being out there and probably even kept by someone, I can't trust anyone and I don't think I can have the comfort of chatting with someone before I go because of it being too risky from this point forward. Or even making a goodbye post on here. This will be considered my "faux goodbye thread" by being the last one I'll actually be able to make.

I'm sorry guys. But, rest assured it was mainly due to my own naiveness.
