I have SN on the way but the estimated delivery date is April 13th, that's too long I can't stand being here anymore. I have a rope and I'll attempt partial hanging in a few hours if all goes well and I don't pussy out. I'll be updating this thread throughout the day to let you know if I've backed out or not, I'm scared shitless. But I can't keep delaying this, it'll never get better for someone like me.

If you feel like it's not worth it to wait for your SN to arrive, then make sure you're prepared for the other method you chose. Don't rush into it, you need to be as ready as possible. Failing an attempt is the worst thing ever and it might take a huge toll on you, so make sure you follow a guide to the T so that doesn't happen. But if you decide to back out and wait for your SN, that's totally fine too, do what's best for you. Wishing you the best

If that's how you feel, then you should listen to yourself. You've already ordered SN and it's on its way. With that, you know you'll have all your chances to succeed. Would you be able to hang on for a few more days? So you can leave without stress, regret, and peacefully?

Please don't rush into methods especially those that can leave you alive but with permanent damage. The aim of this site is in part to help users avoid situations like these where a failed attempt has worsened their quality of life even further and/or left them unable to attempt again.

If you don't mind me asking, if you've got SN on the way, is there any reason why you feel the need to CTB that much sooner before your SN arrives?

Partial hanging's not easy to pull off, and I've read of quite a few failures relating to that method. SN sounds much easier to pull off if you have the right resources and done your research correctly.

If I wanted to, I could try CTBing on the Phenobarbital I've got right now if I wanted to. But I want to give me myself the best chance at CTBing, so I'm still waiting for my Isotonitazene and other kinds of antiemetics to arrive before I consider setting any dates. Admittedly I'm in no rush to CTB, but trying to deal with my insomnia issues while the days go by is a pain.

Apologies, I didn't knew how dire your situation is. I know someone else who had similar problems of being constantly surveyed almost every hour. I think the only chances they got were of shallow water blackout at a nearby lake once every so often but they couldn't pull it off.

I do have a couple of suggestions, but I dunno how good they are.

Is your PO Box accessible late at night? You should try preparing the SN method near outside of your PO Box. Admittedly it's a risky suggestion though because you'd have to make sure you could quickly go somewhere where you can't be spotted. This will obviously also depend on the location of your PO Box too which you'll have a way better idea of than I would.

Another idea if you have the money and your parents don't keep a close eye on your bank account is rent a hotel room for a couple of days and take your SN over there instead.

To me, it's certainly so cruel how other people think that they have a right to interfere in ctb attempts, those who wish to leave should just be able to die in peace without the fear of other people getting in the way. I hate how as humans we have to struggle so much to leave this world that we were so unfairly forced into but anyway I wish you the best of luck.

I think if you've made it this long, you can make it a little longer if you try real hard. Try not to do something out of desperation, It rarely turns out well. A little patience will get you to where you want to go.

I'm not too knowledgable, but is partial hanging unreliable and prone to failure? Is there not a method to guarantee success? If not, then I'll just disregard it as a method

As I've said above, any form of hanging is not easy to pull off. Needs knowledge of how to tie the rope around your neck, as well as knowledge of getting the right type and length of rope, and finding the ideal spot to hang from. While I was waiting on my sn I was in a similar frantic state, I knew I couldn't stay like that and had more to do still anyway. So I spent the time doing alot of research on the method even rereading threads, searching failures and successes, gathering everything else I would need even down to numbing mouth wash and chocolate for the taste. I cleaned my room I started several rough drafts of notes, I even picked out my outfit place and started thinking about how to handle the mess of it all. Just get everything you can think of ready. When my sn arrived I was both exhausted and relieved I had so much prepared. Honestly I thought I'd take within a few days, now I'm just kind of sitting on it, wanting to make sure everything goes right and the I do it in my ideal moment. I hope you find some ease doing some of these things or other things to distract you for a bit. I get where your at.
