• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

(the wrong kind lol)
i know they're two entirely different things, the one used for self deletion is nitrate.
but just seeing a chemical looking bag with sodium like that had me shook.
not nesaserily in a bad way, it's just that you often don't know what to trust of the things you see online.

and i have never seen it IRL before.
it was a store where they sell all kinds of stuff for "food nerds" as they wrote in the window. curing meats etc.

but it was interesting seeing it IRL.
knowing that it exists... that it's not some online made up thing.
(despite it being the wrong kind, but still).

then i went home and googled about it and their website says you need to sign a whole bunch of shit before buying it.
as in, physically sign papers.

so no shipping, i guess.

really? oh shit...
do you think something from 2022 (i mean EXPIRED 2022) would still work?

According here, if the salt is stored properly, the shelf life is almost infinite? I think it'll still work. It's best if you test it to confirm its usability.
