Today I lost my anxiety about my plans

I had a long talk with my mother she told me about a friend she discussed my illness with that also had a child with my illness that ctb.
It all started other day when my pain clinic changed policies so only cancer patients get pain control and I told her I wanted to ctb. She cried, but today she called and told me if i need to ctb she understands and I've fought and done all i can for so long that if i need the peace she will handle everything after.
That takes such a load off and at least having her understand how much pain I'm in and knowing she won't suffer like my husband's family after he ctb.
So now I'll be very much in serious planning. Thank God one person gets it.

I'm still trying to preauade my mother.. it would mean the entire world to me if I had her blessing. I have a huge family and she is the only one I care about leaving behind. I've even resorted to drinking, which I hate. It does give me more courage.

Can I ask what your condition is? I wonder if it's one of the things I have that causes horrific pain and suffering yet is very poorly treated- it is untreatable basically

Honestly hun I am so incredibly sorry for these draconian laws being put forth right now. There's clear and factual statistics proving that the vast majority of cronic pain patients aren't the one abusing the drugs, I have 3 pain patients in my house. Ones prescribed oxy, the other is prescribed fentanyl and morphine, the other is prescribed hydrocodone. I'm so sorry you're being forced to go through this. Pain patients do not abuse their drugs, druggies do

Thank you there's so much truth to that I've been on my same fentynal with percocet for breakthrough for years and it's what finally worked for me being able to be human, I think there will be a huge fallout from this especially because we have medical marijuana here finally but no one will refer anyone for it
