Oh I wasn't offended. I even appreciate others appreciation of different viewpoints. It just looked like automated action to me with it being in the hundreds. Companies use that for advertising (but that obviously didn't make sense in this case).

I don't want to be rude or hurt well- meaning people, but this shower of likes is a bit disturbing. Makes it hard to find relevant notifications among other things. I don't want to dictate what people should or shouldn't like, but these mass-likes are a bit too much. Thank you for your consideration.

This. It was very sweet of Sif to do, but likes become meaningless when every single comment from every single user receives them. Like what you like, because you like it.

I changed my settings so that I only get alerts when someone responds to a specific comment.
