Mental health is a fucking joke. No one understands what the hell is going on. Everyone in that industry is either mentally ill themselves or clouded by ideologies that prevent them from just being there with another human being who is suffering. They play fucking mind games with you until they are ethically or legally obligated to dump you out of their system. All the while benefiting from your suffering which they neither can help nor want to. And moving on to peer support forums is just as bad because it's all social media-style posturing and manipulation. It's like being in high school with a bunch of middle aged teenagers except the cafeteria is divided up into different mental illness identities. And you're just as likely to be shunned if you're not sitting at the right table. The entire state of affairs for people who are suffering long term mentally and emotionally is just a goddamn clown show. And the most insane part of it all is the bizarre prohibition on self-deletion. There is no genuine care in this world anymore, just resentment. Talented, educated professionals base their worldviews on whatever they like, without an ounce of empathy for those they hurt just by espousing such ideologies. And all the while they trap you in the room so that you must suffer through every minute of it. I don't have an answer to any of this. I just wish people could shut the fuck up and leave each other alone. My dream is to escape this hell and flee to a void completely unpopulated. But the bastards would still know I was there, and they would find me eventually and take me back to suffer with them.
