How to make sure I land on my head from a 100m drop? Add fins to my feet, or wear baggy pants?

How to overcome SI and jump? I struggle to drink alcohol, is there any other way to lower inhibitions?

This is my reserve method if I can't get SN or N. I'll be jumping from beachy head cliffs

I was a freefall, high altitude jumper for 4 years. I do know that if you dive into a head first position, maintain ankle to ankle contact, fingers extended, joined, and at the seam of pants, you will remain in that position. Similar to standing at a military attention, except toes are extended and pointed downward; well in this case, upward, instead of at a 45. The second you move a joint or limb you will create a different resistance and begin to shift in position.

Edit: Forgot to respond to the SI portion.

My method for lowering SI is to get extremely hopped up on every upper and stimulant I own within a few days leading up to my exit day, then quit everything cold turkey. I know for me personally, in withdrawal, my SI is next to nothing. Hopefully this helps. I wish you the best in any outcome you hope to achieve 🙏

Now that's some valuable experience! Maybe I should go sky diving and get in some practice. Might turn into a nice hobby in the meantime, definitely productive

I just asked on quora how to skydive in the head first position. The answer was arms by your side, legs flared so you're like a badminton shuttle cock, and toes pointed

Do you live far from there? Have you visited it much so far? I've been there 4 times and haven't even come close to having the courage to jump

Im leaning towards jumping as my method too. I planned to go to beachy head years ago to do it. But it's a bit of a journey. And I was also worried that it would be difficult, since its a known popular ctb spot. And might draw too much unwanted attention. I''m trying to think of places nearer. Or whether to go to a high bridge, or pick a hotel that has high balconies. I'm struggling to plan it all. But I need to succeed this time

There are actually multiple ways to remain straight during what they'd refer to as a linear drop. The phase 1 method was the one I mentioned. It's very simple to close all points of contact and in this situation heavy focus remains on lower back muscles, angle of head and feet. The next 2 phases require sperating limbs from the body and joint control, which require some training. We trained in high altitude resistance and free fall simulators before attempting any during a jump because things can go insanely wrong with just a minimal shift, causing us to lose total control and begin spiralling, tumbling or possuming.

Phase 2 was similar to a high dive position, arms extended over head, fingers extended and joined, heavy focus on shoulders, triceps, lower back, feet and head position. 3 was legs flared, heavy focus on hips, quadriceps, lower back, feet and head position.

All 3 will maintain this position. But I'd never recommend seperating a limb or opening a joint to anyone without training.

Seven Sisters , Seaford Head , Cuckmere are further a along from BH , not quite as high but high enough for sure and less popular....2-300' or so ....and much less busy ....just as pretty sadly if not prettier

Nice pubs to have a few drinks and some lunch in ...pay the bill thank the landlord , then walk out towards edge , say goodbye and goodluck ...

I've been there 4 times while suicidal, peering over the cliffs and procrastinating and everything. No-one noticed. Just take a camera and play the tourist, no-one will bat an eyelid

Lol @ saying hello to chaplains.

I'm to scared to go on a high diving board because I'm sure my technique sucks lol. Besides, 5m is different to 100m, in the air shit can happen and you can easily not end up head first if you don't know how to keep yourself oriented

Jeesus Christ that sounds complicated and difficult. Getting scared of this method again! Thanks for the detailed info tho

I also heard body curls and takes the form of something like a ball to protect you while free fallini you have that parachute maybe your SI won't kick in but here? Why do you think I have no experience but I always hear body curls into a ball and it really protects us. Sorry if I am wrong I also want fktworld to make sure.

Good to read your SN finally arrived, as it seems a lesser bad compared to the alternative of jumping, in more than one way.

My SN finally arrived as well, and oddly enough I feel less bad now that I know I have a path to leave in a couple days whenever I decide.

I hope you the best in any case. Hopefully better times even, as I don't know if your issue allows periods when you feel good enough.

Yes, my SN arrived :-) if I can wait until a new source for N arrives then I'll do that since SN isn't necessarily that pleasant a way to go. @chronicphysicalpain you're leaving in a few days?? That soon, sigh? I hope you find peace. Thank you for your best wishes. I do have periods I feel ok I guess. Still wish I didn't exist though

Well, it largely depends on how deep my pain crisis goes. I mean thanks to SN I can now in a 48h period whenever I consider fit -just wake up, fastduring the day, log in a city hotel in the evening and say goodbye at eleven pm-.

Yet, as you say it clearly isn't pleasant, just the lesser bad now that N is not available...

So maybe now that you have the SN you at least know there's that way out which does not involve a horrible jump... Now our choices are less painful than jumping in any case.
