There's a great bridge about an hour drive from me, but there are barriers out in place to stop people from jumping }:(
I'm a pretty weak guy, so I was wondering if anyone had any tips. I've never scaled a fence in my life, and that's not even considering that the barriers are built specifically to keep people from jumping. Does anyone have any tips? Is there something I could bring with me to make the climb easier?

I live near an extremely high bridge. There are barriers and they go straight up, not curved in like some. And not terribly high. I've thought, I could probably park my car near the barrier, get on the roof, and be 90% of the way there.
But the chain link looks odd, it's multi layered and I wonder if it, or the top, is sharp or difficult to grasp. Add in SI and it seems impossible.

Well, without being able to see the bridge and barrier it is hard to say. Are there not any other options as far as high up places or do you just want to do there for personal reasons?

it's the best place nearby with a drop that isn't survivable. i don't think there are any other places nearby which are not over water, and honestly, i'd rather not jump over water. if i somehow manage to survive, i'd rather suffer on concrete than drown. it's also the only place around here that's known to have people jumping, and something about that is alluring to me.

i would attach an image, but i'm not too terribly keen on doxxing myself,,, i do see online sources say that they're nine feet tall, if that helps. they're also curved inward.

yeah, that's something like what i'm experiencing }:( the ones on my bridge don't seem like quite that much of a pain to climb over, though. parking your car next to the barriers is a smart idea, though,,,
