Help Tie partial for my method

Hey everyone!

What length tie do you think would be best for partial?

Decided I'm going to try again soon but I'm unsure what length a tie will need to be. I plan to tie a slipknot with the tie onto the wardrobe handle and then be sat on the floor. This way I won't be able to reach the handles and backout. Need to do what's right. Though it won't be for a little while.

Any info on ties is appreciated.

As far as I know the length isn't very important in terms of partial hanging compared to full suspension. Any hanging tutorial I read didn't mention how long the liganture should be.

Ah ok, I wasn't sure whether to go for an extra long tie or not.

The longer it is the easier to adjust the height of the noose. Not really necessary when it's close to the anchor point.
