Your life could always go even further downhill.
You dont know the exact direction and I'd rather be in control of my own death. Even if that situation would be "good"
Also if you have a problem with the current modern world that "change" wont come fast

my thoughts too... tomorrow i could be in a freak paralyzing accident. its a weird thought

I agree with the post, many people don't want to die but struggle to find a way to go on living. It's different for everyone. But I think some people genuinely do not want Life anymore, whatever they've seen, they've seen enough.
