Kanye seems to be the poster child for bipolar disorder. Anytime he does or says something wildly inappropriate, the response seems to be, "fuck him and he needs to take his meds".
"Slavery was a choice" - bipolar
"White lives matter" - bipolar
"Going death con 3 on Jews" - bipolar
Is it bipolar? Or is it Kanye? Is he such a narcissist that he thinks he can get anyway with saying and doing anything, no matter how detestable? How do people with bipolar disorder view him? Has he made it harder for people with bipolar, and the way society views them?

I have an affinity for Kanye West lol. I'm not at all into fashion as an art, and he has a disgusting attitude about nonhuman animals. He major problems, but I have an interest in his insanity.

He's a toxic mix of authentically faithful to the metaphysical and consumed by material temptation. He's also a toxic mix of wanting to be loved and admired and also wanting to speak what he perceives as the hidden truth. He's definitely trying to figure out the bigger picture but I don't think he has the capacity to analyze it with a clear mind. His egoticism is not your run-of-the mill narcissism. He is a narcissist, but when asked about it he seems to have full faith in the creative spirit and the ability of human greatness from any person who follows their true ambition. He has odd purities about him.

I think he's attempting to reveal his personal insights into life as a black American. I think he's getting the message mixed up but he's trying to say something profound. He definitely has seen something behind the veil that's too big for his understanding but he's trying to make it known regardless. There are other black celebrities who have come to the same pattern of conclusions like Denzel Washington or Morgan Freeman, but calm evaluation doesn't get the same attention.

But yea I consider myself a fan of Kanye. I love him as a producer and I like the religious undertones in his work. I have the same chaotic and passionate energy as him in life so I guess I give his madness a pass. He's a ticking time bomb though, I think age will just make him worse instead of mellowing him out.

No, I'm with you. I only like to listen to a handful of songs beyond the my beautiful dark twisted fantasy album. I still like the more forward themes of the journey of the human spirit through the material world that he puts in almost everything he does. He actually expanded on that more in his later work.

Kanye was never the same after his mom died. Every negative aspect of him got magnified times a 1000. Also the kardashian curse.

I had an ex that became overly obsessed, threatening and stalkery towards me. He behave and act the same way as Kanye. He was also bipolar type 1 and had a lot of narcissism.

He's always been a narcissist. He also only seemed to care about issues the black community faced back when it benefitted him and his career. A lot of that went out the window when he became super mega rich and famous.

The Black Hebrew Israelite stuff is weird too. They dislike Jewish people and call them "fake jews" because they think black people are the true Jewish people and gods chosen ones.

I may not agree with a lot of what he says and does, though I'd be lying if I said I didn't find him amusing. Remember when he ran for president under the "Birthday Party"? While it would've been interesting to have a third-party candidate win for once, I know America would've lost its damn mind if he actually won. 🤣

While don't doubt he might be dealing with something mentally, it's really no excuse. He has more money, resources, and support to try and get help but I don't think he wants it.

I agree that he's a just massive narcissist. Every controversial thing he does has to be recorded in some way. He had that meeting with the Adidas execs and showed them a porn video in the middle of it to make it a point, and he was recording all of it. Kanye loves attention and probably spends a minimal amount on PR or advertising because he gets promotion with little effort.

I used to be a massive fan of his and it's really sad to see what his career has turned into; just stunts. I'm so glad I'm not in Hollywood or the music industry, it seems like a miserable place and turns you into something else or amplifies your worst traits.

"Slavery was a choice" - He's a black man. He can say what he wants on that matter. Those are the rules aren't they? And his point wasn't at all racist. He was making an argument that was fair (that if all the slaves had fought back, the system could not have worked).

"White lives matter" - They do, don't they? Not a hateful statement. It's a protest against the BLM movement, and Kanye is in no way obligated to support BLM. People criticizing him for it are just part of the "Support my political organization or you're racist" crowd.

"Death con 3 on jewish people" - Incoherent rambling. He didn't say anything overtly offensive, just acknowledged that he would at a future time (but nothing yet). Could be mental health related. Or he's actually convinced the jews are out to get him. Who knows.

Either way, the dude is a rapper. Who cares. People need to stop getting offended at nonsense. Kanye saying Kanye stuff isn't going to hurt anyone.

Yes, but slaves did fight back. They lost limbs in the process. A lot of them ran and were caught by slave catchers, which there were a lot of, as it was a lucrative business. They also had to
contend with gun fire, which they had none of. And don't forgot that there was a lot of mind control. Blacks were taught that they were destined to be slaves through Christianity, and misinterpreted bible verses. However, there were rebellions, most notably in the Carribbean before the British ended Slavery there. It's too dismissive to say, "Slavery was a choice".

I don't agree that we shouldn't be offended. There are people who will take what Kanye says as law, because apperently he's a "Genius". If we don't speak up against certain statements, people wil think it's a okay to make them. Or think it's okay to not do any research, or read a book.

Probably just Kanye.

Still, my own father makes him look like a saint.
