• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

My plan for years was to do it in the woods (Mind out the gutter y'all!). But it's getting cold. And now I'm a little bit more afraid of the woods because I realize killers and rapist are a real possibility. I want to die .. but peacefully. I'm thinking about a hotel or motel. I'm just afraid of traumatizing a worker.. I'm definitely gonna cover my head with a cloth bag or something. I'm thinking of somehow leaving a note warning of my body? Maybe sending a pre-timed message to the police? Thoughts? Ideas?

That is my plan. I will ctb either in a hotel or in a rented shack. If I do it in a hotel, I will leave some money for whoever is unlucky enough to find my body. It is not enough to cover for the potential trauma, but it is all I can do. That said, it depends on my method. That will only work if I leave this garbage excuse of an existence by hanging or heroin overdose. Carbon monoxide poisoning wouldn't work in a hotel.

If you do it in the bathroom of your hotel room, leaving a note in the bed would be a good thing.

Don't know what method you are choosing... so that alone will make a huge difference in what is found.
If you are using something where you would have some time to maybe pull a sheet over you- it would be a warning enough. Think we all kind of know what's up, if there is a "body" shape under a sheet right?
If you are using a gun/ knife = bloody mess then maybe think to tape a note to the floor right in the entrance. Most hotels have that tiny "hallway" and if you position yourself out of site a bit it will allow them to see the note and be warned before seeing anything.

.... And you know- leave a generous tip.

Think it's completely reasonable. I mean sometimes it's the only way to do it without getting found in time. I plan to do it in a hotel if I can't be home alone for at least an hour. Just don't know any isolated forests around here. All of them seem to have people living in them. And people are every where. There aren't really any abandoned areas around here.

Also agree with other users, leaving a tip would be a nice thing to do.

It's a great idea because it guarantees privacy and you can control the amount of time you have there. You could leave a note or sign in a place where the staff would read it before seeing you.

Also, bigger hotels are most likely prepared to deal with this kind of situation. Suicide in hotels isn't exactly something new.

Exactly. They probably expect it & have a procedure already in place to handle it. Hotels could advertise themselves as prime suicide location and make $$$.

I wonder about the hotel room as well. I don't want to put a person in a traumatic situation when they find me, but on the other hand, I don't want my family to find me. I wish all this was easier done than said. Would have to scout hotel rooms anyhow, see if there was anywhere to actually ctb in the room....

The hotel clerk would know I was up to something. There's no way this would work for me. Too nervous. They would probably suspect I was there to bring in a prostitute or drugs just by how nervous I was.

All the stories I write are of dying at the graveyard.

Trust me, they don't care, there are many weird people at hotels and they're not paid to turn away your money.

The things that have happened to me at hotels and nobody noticed.

Didn't he kill himself in his home?
Edit: Google confirms this.
My bad I got him confused with Chris Cornell who hung himself in the hotel.

He hanged himself with one of those stretchy exercise bands—an odd choice but I guess that's what he had. Interesting that something so elastic worked. You can look up photos of the scene online.

I guess with enough determination you can ctb with alot of unpractical things. Partial suspension seems the best way to go if you have guaranteed isolation.

I was just trying to make a little dark humor about the hell we're all in. Even rich people with super comfortable lives experience this. Enough pain to ctb.

true.

Suffering is subjective. It amazes me when people get shocked when someone rich or good looking ctb's.

I've always wondered if they're allowed to keep the tip or if it becomes evidence. Is that weird?

Personally I am putting that money in my pocket then taking care of the person I found. Shit maybe you could write a note to that effect?
