From the FAQ
CoolWorks features seasonal and year-round jobs in hospitality, outdoor recreation, guiding, administration, education, conservation, nonprofits, and more, all in amazing places.

Seasonal life can take you to wild, welcoming, memorable places, the kinds of communities where the mountains become your backyard and coworkers become friends for life.

I have thought about doing seasonal work because I enjoy nature and would like a place to live in temporarily for free. I enjoy animals as well. Though a lot of jobs that provide free shelter require one to have a roommate. Also I'm not sure how the traveling process is. Would or have you enjoyed seasonal work?

Damn that looks interesting. Some time ago I saw a girl who traveled through the US with her van and did these seasonal jobs. It looked really fun but also very challenging because you are dependent on the weather, the jobs and your van. If you are stable and can imagine doing it, I think it can be a really rewarding experience because of all the new places and people you discover and meet. But I think doing overtime, long hours and physically exhausting work is common practice
