• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I crave sex. I can attract women but I'm never in a position for it to go anywhere. Interacting with someone more than once is key and I only get chance encounters.

Anyway, I was just thinking how the desire for sex stems from being a human with a brain. This craving will plague me until death but after death, I won't have a brain and brains crave sex.

If this craving were satisfied, then dying would be a lot easier. But I suppose it doesn't matter because after, nothing will.

For sometime it does. But when you see others having the things you desire just brings back those feelings of unsatisfaction

But the dead don't care. They don't crave this stuff.

I've given up on my unfulfilled dreams. I'm watching them float away. Soon they'll be out of sight, barely a memory.

And even if we had gotten the things we wanted we wouldn't know the difference after death.

It's not just my own wants I'm going to be glad to see the back of. I can't wait to be free of the expectations that society in general places on us. Maintain a job, pay taxes, maintain your property, pay more taxes. Maintain your health, so that you can maintain your job and property... and pay taxes.

there are things i'd like, but they're out of my reach. even if i were to satisfy these cravings, i'd just be dissatisfied again in due time and back to square one.

Yeah never wanting or needing food water, youtube , sex, many addictions either etc . That's why non-existence forever is the best thing and that is what happens after death
And even if we had gotten the things we wanted we wouldn't know the difference after death.
Yes and you won't remember it happened after death. Everything a human does will gone forever after death = non-existence forever. As if the human never existed briefly in the first place

That too. And no chance of ever suffering unbearable unending pain because after death a human will not exist forever never exist again

Nothing matters after death

What is going to matter to you in 200 years? 500 Years? 10,000 years?

I'm not one to go with this line of reasoning, tbh. I can't find the same solace in ending the human condition of suffering by inexistence like some other users here. I can only think of my human self and my suffering, and not what happens in death. I don't understand romanticizing inexistence.

Not to say that other users' opinions here are invalid, it's just that I find it to understand personally. I can't empathize but I can sympathize with y'all. Hugs 🫂
