My worst moments are usually during the beginning of the week, and my mind eases up on Friday. But this morning, I'm feeling pretty desperate, because reasons. Even the music I'm listening to is not helping to lighten my mood. Fortunately, I don't have the means at the moment for an impulsive action, which is good because it's not quite yet time for me.
I'm trying to get through this by reminded myself of the story of King Solomon that someone once told me during a bad phase. Solomon wanted an inscription on his ring to make him sad when he was happy, and happy when he was sad. The ring came back with this: "This too, shall pass".
I know that this morning is not the worst of it, and that this feeling, too, shall pass. While I don't want to do this forever, now is not the time. So, onward.
Dang...I am trying to respond to this with a separate comment, but it keeps adding to the original comment...like I'm not frustrated enough...
