Whenever I am afraid of being dead forever, I think of all the millions who have already ctb.

Specifically, I think to myself, yes I am going to be dead forever, but I am not the only one who is going to be dead forever.
All those who have already ctb are also going to be dead forever.

Can't relate as I long for non existence. It's the thought of an afterlife or the possibility of death not being the end of it that truly terrifies me. I don't want eternal life "good" or " bad". I want consciousness to end. Then again I'm the polar opposite of most people :notsure:.

Being dead forever sounds like heaven to me.

Once I stop caring what others think, I'm going.

I have realized today what keeps me from being successful. I have an irrational fear that my conciousness will survive death, trapped in an unending black darkness forever. If I could get this stupid idea out of my head, I could be successful.

There is no telling what happens after death. Does anyone else lookforward to discovering such? Perhaps lost loved ones and the idea that potentially seeing them again is something to look forward to?

Nope. I know what happens. I go back to what I was before I was born. Nothing.

And I'm so cursed that endless black darkness would be heaven anyway. The sunlight burns the hell out of my eyes. Any light at all causes anxiety. I'm pretty much a vampire. Life is hell enough just because of that, much less all the other headcase disorders. Disorders likely caused by being tortured for 35 years in sensory hell.

I long for eternal oblivion.

But if the idea of death being permanent scares you as much as it does, maybe you aren't ready and could benefit from looking into changing your life.

Before your birth you didn't exist either. What is the difference?

1) So almost evrey molecule in your brain and body are replaced many times through out life span at different rates. For instance if you cut your skin and it's replaced, it's a copy of your skin not your original skin. Or when your parts of your brain are replaced with a close copy that part of you is dead forever or in other word app you h e already died multiple times.

2) cousiousness is clearly precieved incorrectly.

Like I said , in many threads before there is a HUGE difference.

The difference is that the time before you were born was *not* eternal as you were eventually born.
It might have been 9383637394737373383737373727261538483637383737373838383737373737373728473738473737 trillion years but it ended eventually when you were born.

The time after your death *is going to be eternal.
It won't end even after 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 trillion years.
