what has happened here lately ?, it seems many people have simply vanished off of the site, maybe ctb ?, the people i grew attached to in the early doors of registering no longer post here or even log on nomore according to there last seen statuses, does that make you suicidal in and of itself ?, even more so, like the few people who got you and understood you no longer post and you can never know why ?, like maybe they just decided to carry on living, maybe they simply closed there accounts have some have, and merely moved on, or maybe they cbtd, either way this community isnt what it used to be, it used to have very busy traffic here, and always people would respond quickly, seemingly then the website has died down some, making me feel further alone i guess, anybody else feel a similar way ?, like i knew it best to not get attached prior to registering here, but when you click with certain people and they no longer post your wondering why ?, take care peoples and look after yourselves,

I'm not a very old member of this forum, but I could feel a difference in attendance in recent weeks. There may have been a lot of CTB, I'm thinking in particular of some members who posted regularly. It may be due to the time of year.
Afterwards, some members ask for information for the method, the sources and disappear, I don't know what happens.

But this forum remains for me a real refuge, I simply cannot express myself like this in real life, people would not understand.

I agree, I miss when the site was busier. I had a break because of psychosis and when I came back this place was far more quiet

This could be the case.

We could also more registrations this month and next month due to the holiday seasons, though.

But the truth is that there is nothing to be gained by staying on this website. There is no point to it, and I think that most people just come for their method information as that is really the whole point of this site. It's a suicide forum after all. People want to find out about methods so they can either ctb immediately or just have the knowledge of a method so they have an option to ctb at a later date and once that they have found what they are looking for they just leave. People come here for a specific purpose rather than to socialise.

Also, why would it be a bad thing if this site is quieter. I don't see this as being a problem. It makes sense as why they would not be much activity as people can search for what they need to know and people don't even need to make an account to find information. But in my case I cannot really relate to people in general and I never feel understood. Anywhere where there are people reminds me of how I cannot relate to them. But it's better to be alone anyway, at least it is for me.

I always just accepted it as default that people would just move on one way or another and we'd never really know why.

I never intended to have close ties with anyone on here either, if for no other reason than privacy. Well, I also don't do a great job of keeping ties to begin with...

Personally, I used to only come here when things felt particularly bad and not always with an account, sometimes that meant breaks more than a year long. I do try to take everything in so sometimes it's just draining for lack of a better word when it's time to put my thoughts into writing.
