This is our daily life now. Pretending to be at least somewhat happy while actually hurting deeply inside. The pain won't go away, and the longer you try to put up a happy face, the more painful it becomes. I'm glad my CTB date is within two months. This is just too much.

I only marginally pretend at this point, honestly. I just grunt if anyone asks if I'm okay and while I don't go out of my way to say that I'm depressed or anything, I also don't go out of my way to hide it either.
