I read about the loneliness, desperation and pain that so many of us have to endure. I think the society loves to look away from lives in full agony. This does not fit in their fairy tale worldview. I read that many friends of you have distanced themselves because they did not wanted to be confrontated with so much negativity. (This never happened to me though but my friends are rather the exception). Instead the people prefer following instagram influencer who pretend life would only consist of consuming (products), looking good and superficial joy. Questioning the system we live in is too uncomfortable for many. And yes I also think about the sometimes/often selfish dream of pro-creating. I am not fully convinced about the whole conception of antinatalism but so many people procreate who later treat their kids like shit and who do obviously not fit for this role. They murder the soul of innocent kids (like my parents).
I think this forum is a mirror image of the abyss of humankind. So many people got abused, raped, assaulted, bullied and so much more. Many people have recognized this in my opinon right when they said this forum is a scapegoat for the society. I mean so many of us don't have sufficient health care. This is a joke. And then they tell us we would be the problem. This forum is only a symptom for the rotten system we live in. Priests rape minors and then when they kill themselves the victims are sinners. This is a cynical joke.
If more people in the elites would have gone only through a fraction of what I experienced the voices would fall silent very fast that say assisted suicide should be no option. I also doubt more and more that people who did not go through any shit should not have the right to determine about the lives of suicidal. In my country the former chancellor was strictly against assisted suicide. If I have never experienced horrible pain do I really have the insight how these people feel. I doubt it. This is rather arrogance to judge about other persons decisions.
When this forum ceases to exist so many of us won't be able anymore to cry out about their pain. Where else can we go to? On Facebook you get banned for saying "I want to have assisted suicide" (as in many pro-life forums). My dad threatens me to stop giving me money when I try to apply for assisted suicide. Stigmatizing this topic further won't make the problem disappear. You want to shoot the messenger. But it is simply the truth that some people cannot bear the pain of decades of extreme pain. What shall this people do? Locking them up forever? Shaming them for having this thoughts?
I don't need platitudes how beautiful my life can be and that I simply have to change my perspective/attitude.
You absolutely don't have any idea how I feel. How my consciousness tortures me. Don't pretend your life experience would count for me. It is a charge for the society that this place is so much needed. You should rather ask yourself why people on here don't want to talk instead to the samaritans or other groups like that. I don't feel taken serious by them. I get treated like a fucking child without any free will. As if every of my suicidal thoughts was irrational from an insane person.
I think I should not go on with my rant. Making insane long threads won't change their mind. Because I am just a mentally ill person who cannot judge about impact of his decisons. In many countries they lock up mentally ill people in prisons without giving a fuck about that argument. They use it when it is pleasant for them.
