• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Can I just think myself to death? I know it's not really possible but I've heard of psychogenic death

I'm just sitting in my room feeling really weak and desperate to die

I always wish it's an option as all I want is to never suffer ever again, I wish for no more suffering and I really understand finding it so torturous to exist, I hope that you find the peace you search for.

I think it's possible. I tried it many many times when I was a teenager. The closest I could get to success was slow breathing, numbness, a slow heartbeat with palpitations. I couldn't push it below that point. Mentally and emotionally however, I killed off most of myself. It's just this stupid body which is like a machine without an off switch.

A British psychologist, John Leach, has researched this subject for some years. His results may seem to indicate that the production of L Dopamine in the brain reduces and can eventually shutdown altogether.
This state however is usually produced by outside stressors, such as genuinely believing a voodoo curse, being diagnosed with cancer or AIDs, that type of incident. So it seems that this state usually occurs when the individual and unconcious mind are totally convinced that death, for them, is now inevitable and irreversible. I'm not sure how strong willed you'd require to be to "will" yourself into this condition of absolute conviction.

I guess there's a difference between desperately wishing you were dead and truly believing you're going to die. Man this world is cruel
