From my understanding if I am able to properly manage SA it is a much more potent exit route than SN, and since ethe mechanism of the action of SA is not well known there is no solid treatment for it(unlike SN). Similarly dosage is also less compared to SN and the additional medications won't make too much of a difference. The only think still eating away in my mind is some of the possible side effects. Specifically if I do survive then there is a very high chance for brain damage and the exist as far as I have read doesn't seem "peaceful." Either way I can set up an environment where I can handle SA safely, just need more clarification on it's mode of action once inside the system. I don't want to ask my co workers since they are most probably going to make the connection. Some help from career chemists would much appreciated.

SA is more poisonous, for example you can't touch it with your hand incase it goes into your skin and absorbs that way.
SN is not going to fail unless you're in a situation where you maybe 'helped' within a couple of hours, even then effects are such where you can pretty much recover and try another day if that's your wish, i don't believe there is any evidence of Brain damage for SN.

It maybe not be peaceful like Nembutal because there is bit of a period where you could feel nausea or heart rate but it's not painful.

SA is going to be very difficult to obtain even if you have connections to people. It's so toxic there is a unwillingness to import/export.
People have managed to get it in the past on here though.

I have the appropriate clearances to get some, particularly because it is used as a preservative in hospitals. From the few papers I read of SA action in the human body they highlight brain damage which is why I am more or less hesitant.

Be advised I don't think SA is super peaceful either, but it's extraordinary lethal and will do the job .. Peaceful pill lists effects of SA is potentially, foaming at the mouth, nausea , cramps and more.

Anyone who ingests 2 grams (dissolved in 50 ml of water) of SA will die.

This is because the oxygen combustion in the cell is permanently blocked (irreversible blockage of the oxidative phosphorylation). The cell can no longer function. Heart and brain cells are the first cells in the body to suffer from this. That's why you fall into a coma and get heart rhythm disturbances.

So it always works!

After ingesting 2 grams (dissolved in 50 ml of water) of SA you will fall into a coma after about 30 minutes. Then you don't feel or notice anything anymore. After about two hours, your heart stops (even if you have a pacemaker and regardless of medication) and you are dead.

There are cases in which loved ones or bystanders panicked and called 911. An attempt was then made to resuscitate the person concerned. That will never work. Ventilation, heart-lung machine, kidney dialysis, hemodialysis and all other forms of resuscitation have no effect. This only stretches the dying process.

Thank you for the detailed explanation, though I have a few more questions regarding the preparation of the SA solution and handling of the substance. According to the CDC SA on exposure to water has a violent reaction which turns it into a poisonous gas along with this the CDC says that SA may explode on contact with metal as well(they highlighted a case in the hospital where someone tried to dispose of SA via a drain and it exploded).

If you dissolve it in water then you have to stir it with a plastic spoon. (Do not use a metal spoon). contact with metal causes undesirable reactions.

SA (as a solid) "explodes" on contact with metals. Because of this, it used in airbags. The nitrogen molecules separate from the sodium and then require a much larger space as a gas, causing the airbag to inflate.

SA as a solution is absorbed and metabolized by the body at lightning speed. Thus, no gas is formed. Contact with the amalgam or other metals in the mouth does not lead to explosions.

You can also take SA in capsules. 1 gram per capsule. Total of 3 capsules (3 grams).
