Thinking of CTB today any advice on transporting a shotgun without a car/uber

I guess thats nothing new to this forum. I doubt I'll go through it but I want to go to the gun store once it opens and get a shotgun. How I am going to carry that in an uber... idk I'll need to bring a bag but I don't think my bags are big enough. maybe they'll give me a bag. Something about today makes it feel like its meant to be. I'm scared I'll lose momentum like always.

I am stealing this idea from Terminator 2. But get one of those long flower boxes. The ones that hold orchids or something, put the gun inside that.

If it's new then they should give you a case that was provided by the manufacturer of that gun. I don't know if they will or not, if you're worried about that then either call in their phone number and ask about it or bring in a guitar case

I've received the shipping box for some of the new guns I purchased but otherwise bring some extra money to get a case. Some places will throw in a cheap case for free but you can always just grab a soft case or cheap plastic one.

Have you thought about a handgun instead?

Regardless of what you find a shotgun is large and will be awkward in an uber. Although you may find they don't care.

Handguns I'd have to get a permit from my home state and buy it there. The permit process takes weeks and usually my ideation ebbs and flows enough over a few hours and I am too depressed to go through such a process. But yes I'd much prefer a hand cannon.

They would probably start asking questions about a guitar case. Gun cases are cheap.
