Problem is I hate attention. I don't want this to be like a thing that generates attention/gossip.

I also can't do it in a hotel, and I wouldn't trust a hotel. They have thin walls. They could hear you agonal breathing and then call someone to check on you. I heard it's happened before.

It would very likely generate attention if you left the coordinates in the note. You would very likely become a news story for the local news station, but the attention would be short lived as they would move on to the next "shocking" thing to grab more views and clicks.

My personal idea is doing it at home, when no one will be there for a few days to save you. Much quieter.

The coordinates is so there's no search party, and no one worries. It's to make things easier for everyone involved.

I never hear of suicides in the news, the reason is because they don't want people to replicate it.

Never once in my 24 years have I been left at home alone for a night.

And I'm not going to a hotel… I just really don't like hotels, I'm not going to get into why. I also don't think it's reliable, if someone hears you through the walls they could call someone.
