Firstly, please don't think I'm a weirdo or doxing people.
I work in the field of IT Security. I've seen several people attach JPEG's to their posts on here of their intended ctb location, pictures of their SN or even of their pets.
What you may not realise is that these files also contain what's called metadata. This metadata will typically contain the model of camera/smartphone, the exact GPS location of where the picture was taken and even in some cases, your actual name.
Be especially careful with iPhones as they typically include GPS data in the jpegs you take with them by default. Without going into the how-to, if someone has that data, they have your home address.
It's an easy process to remove metadata from a jpeg - just google it.
