  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hi All, It would be good to hear what people are doing while waiting for their own right time. For me, I have proven there is no substitute for action. In my life, I moved away from family in the Midwest, and hiked the Grand Canyon and Yosemite Half Dome. Could have easily died there, but did not want to for the sheer beauty of it all. Went to NYC for a job that terrified me, but it paid off tenfold. Traveled to dangerous, high crime countries, and left with plenty of stories. Went to Hawaii and played in the open ocean. Sharks anyone? Anyway, I have found that getting out of my comfortable rut and taking risks was loads of fun, always knowing I could end it anytime I wanted. There is magic in bold action. We live in a web of causes and conditions, and when we act on it with good intention, good things follow. To those who are not ambulatory, my heart goes out. While sedantary, I have found wonderful travels through great novels, and loads of knowledge in documentaries. How about you? Thanks for Listening!

Just wanting some peace

I do not enjoy anything and there is nothing that I particularly want to do. I just want to sleep forever and be free of this horrible life. I just spend a lot of my time overthinking everything and wishing I was not here.

I just play videogames and watch shows or movies. If I had the energy and the money, I'd like to travel like you did. But my anxiety barely even allows me to leave my apartment.

Anhedonia.

I (try) to watch YouTube videos to distract myself. Sadly doesn't really work when my anhedonia gets bad so I instead just lie down in bed all day wishing I was dead.

I used to spend all day going on walks around half a year ago for a while but I just don't have the energy needed to do that anymore.

I wish I could do more but it's just how my life is and will be until I die.

My heart goes out to those who are disabled or in too much pain to leave bed or travel. May you soon find peace. I met a girl on the island of Lamu off the Kenyan coast just south of Mogadishu, Somolia. She had been traveling for two years with no income, and only on the energy of the universe. She put herself out there, and could have easily been killed or starved to death, but that did not happen. What did happen was interaction with interesting people exercising generosity and presenting opportunities. This girl to me defines courage. We are all of the mind that we will end our lives on our own terms when the time is right. Until that time, we may as well take some risks and have some fun. When clinical depression overwhelms and takes the fun out of life, drugs wont solve the problem. What will solve the problem is recalibrating brain chemistry naturally, through geographic relocation, adrenaline producing high risk physical activities, and a 180 degree diet change. Thank you for listening and for your comments!
