Since I've been acquiring things, and planning to ctb, I've been reading a lot of horror novels. Specifically vampire stuff. I recently finished reading Salem's Lot, and I also finished rewatching Midnight Mass on Netflix.
It's so easy for a vampire to die. All they have to do is make sure they have no shelter come sun up.
I wish it were that easy for us humans.

It really is so difficult to ctb as we are programmed to survive. I also wish it was easier to exit this world. I hope you enjoy reading, I struggle to concentrate so I do not read much. I wish you the best.

Possibly. Although, maybe it would be agonising for them, to the same level that surviving a long fall onto concrete would be for us humans. In which case I wouldn't envy them so much.

I wouldn't mind being attacked by a vampire. What an exotic way to go…

Depends on the story. In the old Hammer films, and on Buffy, they disintegrate pretty quickly. It might be painful, but it's quick.
In Salem's Lot exposure to sunlight is a slower death, but on Midnight Mass exposure to sunlight is a quick death; however, the vampire in question might still have a strong survival instinct like that one evil woman whose name I can't remember.

Loss of blood? I had an experience last spring where my hemoglobin dropped to an extremely low level. You'd probably get very tired and experience shortness of breath.
Beyond that I can't say.

I feel humans can be extremely fragile, it just seems those of us who wish to leave sooner can't get a break. I've always wished I was a vampire, I'd step in to the light immediately. Which is a bit funny since the life I'm living sees me barely going out and getting sunlight, motivation is motivation no matter the form.
I hope you can continue to consume media as much as you desire, I miss when I could get absorbed fully in to such topics. Now anything feels half-hearted at best.

I think it would be harder for them to stay out till sun up. Their programming to stay alive would be stronger since they live forever. I guess their sun would be keen to how we breath underwater but as we get older, we're more accepting of things to come where theirs would never change. Interesting to think about. I really wish I liked to read cause I've heard so many people talk about interesting books

That last sentence hits home for me. Everything just seems like the same thing I've already done, nothing is ever new. Not having anyone to do anything with so the want to do anything is just not there I guess

I can relate. I'm an introvert who's content to stay inside and read, go online, watch movies, etc. 😊

Re: vampires and sunrise, it would be hard, but not impossible. Riley found a way to do just that in Midnight Mass.

In Anne Rice's Vampire series, there's a term for vampires who make it past the first few hundred years. I forget what it is.
But basically the idea is that most vampires grow weary of life and commit suicide within a couple hundred years, and only a select few have the rare sort of personality necessary to take on the burden of eternal life.
So the first couple hundred years are viewed as a sort of sifter and the ones who last that long usually live forever or until they're killed by others.

For some reason, I enjoy reading about the Las Vegas shooting. Just the way he was planning all that crazy shit in a hotel, right under people's noses, and no one knew. What a crazy motherfucker!!!

I read a few of her vampire novels, but I don't remember either. I'm a bigger fan of her Mayfair Witches series.
I suppose the term could easily be found online. I'll take a look.

I looked it up. Vampires who reach 1,000 years or more are called Children of the Millenia.
