What value is there to a life that wants to end?

nobody's ever shown me any true support when it comes to being suicidal. at best i'll get some cookie cutter bullshit such as "it'll get better eventually", but that's only at best. usually it's just ignoring me completely, at its worst it's outright ridicule.

even talking about these thoughts to people or what triggers them often gets counted under guilt tripping or manipulation. people will claim it's not their responsibility, which sure. yeah, it isn't. but then don't come crying on my corpse when i'm dead and whine about suicide prevention when you never put the effort yourself.

People just haven't got the tools for the topic. They don't know what to say or do. They feel hopeless cause they're clueless.

I just don't see it as being the best idea opening up about wanting to die in the first place as sadly so many people are insensitive, lack compassion and won't even try to understand, to me it seems like suicidal people are treat badly everywhere.
