why exist at all when within a very short time everything you are is going to fade away into nothingness
and you will never exist ever again, i am suffering because of this how can someone enjoy life knowing that they have been bought alive to be killed off in no time at all and soon to be gone for all time, it wouldent be so bad if life was amazing for everyone but life is mostly suffering for huge amount of people it's completely pointless in being alive here i would never want to suffer through something as meaningless as life itself, most of life as been suffering due to horribleness of this shithole and hellhole, i can bet given the choice before hand if to be alive here or not mostly everyone would choose not to be alive here given the situation it's almost always preferable to not to exist, why are we even doing this so called life thing, it's not exciting and is dull boring routine it's damn right depressing, i've had enough of life and it's terribleness and shitness when will life ever be good enough to even want to live here probably never for lots of machines i don't find this universe to be amazing it's the exact opposite to amazing it's boring cruel world, evil exists and this place is it

Life is certainly hell, suffering is around every corner and there is no end in sight. It really is a routine of misery and boredom. People will spend their days trying to justify all this suffering but they will never succeed because their arguments are based on the idea that life is positive, it's not and I don't know why you would think that. The only reason I exist is because it's so hard to die, and a part of my mind keeps holding me here as well, taunting me about the possibility of happiness. I really just want to be listened to and allowed to end my constant suffering. I hope that your suffering ends as well.

It's very true that there is no point to existing, I believe life to just be a tragic and unfortunate consequence of evolution and there is nothing to be gained by existing here, instead there are just ways to suffer so unnecessarily. It could never appeal to me existing in this world where there is unlimited potential to be tortured, so therefore I always see non existence as being the more desirable option. I also see life as being something so useless and tedious, it does disgust me how so many are against suicide in this world, it's like they forget that we are all just destined to die anyway. To die is the only way to solve all problems after all, it's certainly a curse having the ability to suffer.

Life is completely pointless.

We exist to breed and slave away so that 1% of humanity can experience obscene luxury.

I like the concept, though trying and failing through it is discouraging as hell, ngl. I feel like positive nihilism would be fine in a vacuum, but reality have time, money & resources constraint. I want to be able to be positive, but it's just genuinely hard sometimes.

Love the image tho, sorry if the reply came off bit of a projection lol

positive nihilism basically - we are here already may as well make the most of it and enjoy the party till the nights over, do good stuff, eat the good stuff, have sex, dance and when its over its over.

morbid nihilism basically - theres no point to any of it, my suffering is for nothing, this party sucks , i rather leave early.

I often flip flop between these two daily.

I guess we're just stuck here. We didn't get the choice on whether to come here. We do have the choice on whether we want to keep existing. Still- the actual act of ending it is scary- given that it could go wrong and make things worse.

I think some people are maybe just more willing to accept the shitshow that's thrown at them than others. Some people also have easier lives than others. I think there likely are more people who are to the greater extent pleased that they got to experience life. Not to say they aren't struggling or that they are blissfully happy. I just don't get the impression that EVERYONE wishes they had never been born. I think we're still in the minority group there maybe.

I think it largely depends on what you have experienced in life. Some people can still find things they enjoy and get fulfillment from. Yes- it COULD be taken away from them but maybe it won't be for a while. The people that I've known that REALLY enjoyed their lives tended to make the most of the moment they were in. Of course- it upset them to think they might lose the things they loved but it didn't stop them from making the most of them at the time.

While I sort of hate the expression- 'life's what you make it'- in some ways, I think it's true. Of course- it also MASSIVELY depends on how fortunate you are in health, wealth, intelligence and looks. It's stupid to believe we all have the same opportunities in life. Still- SOME people with the most appalling backgrounds and problems still manage to make a go of it.

I definitely think to get anywhere in this world, you need a tremendous amount of will/ fight/ resilience. This world really doesn't seem to take prisoners. If you aren't willing to help yourself get to where you want to be- I think you're screwed basically!
